PRICING

The cost of wedding flowers is often regarded as a mystery  and people often feel that florists with no price lists available are out to swindle folk out of their hard earned wedding budget. We will try to explain here why you will rarely find a definitive and permanent price list online with most good wedding and event florists.

At Flower Design we take great pride and passion in designing each wedding down to the last detail and each one we provide flowers for is unique. Every flower has a different price, and costs will vary depending on the types of the flowers and foliage we use, the scale of the event, the size of the items and even the time of year. Whilst many flowers are available all year round, there are certain varieties that have specific seasons - Peonies for example are an early summer flower only and simply wouldn't be available for a winter wedding. We will always be happy to suggest alternatives to get the desired style & colour you require. As such, its very difficult for all florists to provide a set price list that is fair to our clients because no two weddings are the same - your scheme will be unique to you and your requirements.

We will always ask you if you have a budget in mind, and its not because we want to take advantage. It's because it wastes your time and our time to offer you a design scheme that you don't have the budget for, and the process of designing your wedding flowers is much more efficient for everyone if we have an idea of what you'd like to spend.  There are endless combinations of flowers and designs, so there is usually always a solution for almost every budget and we are more than happy to suggest ideas to suit.

CONSULTATION FEE

Many florists will charge you a consultation fee to discuss your flowers but at Flower Design we offer this as a complimentary service.

DEPOSIT/BOOKING FEE

A deposit of £50 of the total agreed quote is payable to secure your booking. This is non-refundable and deducted from the final balance payment.

BALANCE PAYMENT

The outstanding balance is due two weeks before the wedding date.

​

PAYMENT METHOD

Payment can me made by cash, cheque or bank transfer. There is also the facility to accept  credit card.
